Description
Deep-sea jigging, popular for targeting high-value fish such as red snapper, requires a hook with the "lightweight and smooth penetration power" necessary for slowly manipulating jigs weighing well over 300g. The "AS-06 Falx" hook is used. It uses a thin-shank wire that conventional jigging hooks could not maintain strength for, and is forged to the extreme using new Dual Forged technology, while the inside of the bend is flattened to reduce the chance of the fish getting away due to the hook tearing out of the fish's mouth. It uses a slightly longer assist line and is attached to the front and rear of the jig, making it an assist hook for deep-sea jigging that efficiently hooks the fish in the mouth and body.
